Hey, BD, I checked out a few photoshop lineart clean-up tutorials, and most of it says, or implies, that I need to ink my drawings first. Is this true, or can you just go clean up your pencil lineart using photoshop?
If you can use pencils, do you have any recommended websites/links that have these tutorials?

err...that'a the point of "lineart clean-up". You practically use Photoshop to clean up the line work that you inked yourself.

Pencil work tends to be very messy, but they are doable to work with and turn it to line art. I had a youtube video of one of the processes, but I'm on vacation.

But, you would mind asking me further questions on art via-email?

So, say if I got a tablet, how does that make my life, as in the coloring-and-cleaning-up-lineart-in-photoshop aspect of life easier? And if I did, will you kill me?

Well, I personally think that it wouldn't makes things easier, but it helps the hand not develop further injuries, say carpel tunnel syndrome, at an early age.
